NASCAR Xfinity Series Predictions at Nashville
The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns from its off week to the Nashville Superspeedway for the Tennessee Lottery 250.
Over the last two races at Nashville, the winner of the race would also go on to lead the most laps. Kyle Busch led 122 laps in his 2021 win.
Justin Allgaier dominated this race last year, leading 134 of 188 laps and claiming his 2nd victory of the 2022 season. It comes as no surprise that Allgaier opens as the favorite to win Saturday’s race.
Although Ty Gibbs has the second highest odds of winning. He finished 4th in this race last season, en route to winning his first Xfinity Championship. Gibbs has competed in three Xfinity races this season, averaging a finish of 4th. He’s looking for his first victory of the season in any NASCAR series this season, it could very well happen on Saturday.
RIley Herbst has had a rough 2023 season since his last Top 10 at COTA. Over the last 8 races, his average finish is 25th. But Nashville has been a track Herbst has Top 10 speed at. He finished 10th in 2021, improving to a 3rd place finish and started on pole in last year’s race. This could be a huge bounce back race for the #98.
Austin Hill has been on a five race streak of finishing inside the Top 10, and it can continue on Saturday. With 9th place finish in 2021 and an 8th place run in last year’s race, the #21 seems poised to have a run at a potential 4th win of the 2023 season.
Zane Smith is pulling double duty and will also run on Saturday for the #28 Ryan Sieg Racing entry, with chassis support from Stewart Haas. Aric Almirola won in an upset at Sonoma in the same car, pair that with Zane’s ability to have race winning speed at Nashville, it’s worth looking at for him to contend for the win on Saturday.
