Although he’s not in the Playoffs, Chase Elliott is the favorite entering this weekend. He’s yet to win a race so far in 2023, but he heads to a track where he’s won twice in 2019 and 2020. Elliott has finished well on the road courses this season, except a 32nd place finish at Watkins Glen after a miscue from his crew chief Alan Gustafson. With finishes of 5th at Sonoma, 3rd in Chicago, and 2nd at Indy, Chase will be looking for a 1st place finish this weekend.
Tyler Reddick +700 | Top 3 +200 | Top 10 -250
Since his Cup debut in 2020, Tyler Reddick has had the best average finish at the Charlotte ROVAL with 7th. He enters this weekend -2 from the cutoff and will be looking for a third straight Top 10 finish on road courses, with 4th at Indy and 8th at Watkins. Glen. In all five road course races this season, Reddick has qualified 2nd four times and 8th once. He’ll have speed for Sunday.
Kyle Larson +900 | Top 3 +250 | Top 10 -210
After Texas got away from Kyle Larson, race fans turned their attention to the Charlotte ROVAL for the 2021 Cup champion to have a shot at making the next round of the Playoffs. Larson enters this weekend with +15 points to the cutoff, giving him little room for error. He won back in 2021 enroute to his Championship, he’ll look to replicate that same run this Sunday.
AJ Allmendinger +1000 | Top 3 + 270 | Top 10 -180
An upset winner could come from AJ Allmendinger and Kaulig Racing. He’s mustered just two Top 5’s and five Top 10’s, with his most recent coming at Watkins Glen with 4th. He’s won the last four Xfinity ROVAL races and finished 4th in last year’s Cup race. This could be his last chance at winning this year, Allmendinger will look to be on the ball this Sunday.
