Kyle Busch +150
Although this track relies more on track position rather than having a long run truck, Kyle Busch might be the only driver in the field who can do that. Busch has won five times in the Truck Series at Texas, including his last three starts. It’ll be his fourth start of the season in the Truck Series, leaving him with only one more race he’ll be allowed to compete in. He’ll be the man to beat this weekend.
Christian Eckes +550
Last week’s winner at Martinsville will be looking to have a better finish at Texas after being caught up in the last lap crash just a year ago. He’s finished 2nd at Texas on two different occasions and has been caught up in wrecks on the other two, none of which were at his fault. Expect Eckes to contend for the win this weekend.
Corey Heim +600
He’s finished every race inside the Top 10 this season and has had Top 10 finishes in every start at Texas. Corey Heim has finished 7th in his two starts at Texas and is still looking for his first win at the 1.5 mile track. The championship favorite looks to continue his path towards the Truck Series title this Friday night.
Nick Sanchez +1000
Last year, Nick Sanchez led a staggering 168 laps in a race that was extended into overtime due to a couple late race cautions. In the end, he wrecks on the last lap trying to win and ends up finishing 16th. With a win on the season, there’s risks and gambles Sanchez can take in case of any late race shenanigans, He’ll be looking for vengeance after coming so close last year.
Rajah Caruth +1400
The last time the Truck Series raced at a 1.5 mile track, Rajah Caruth was the winner. He finished 19th in last year’s race, but with some more experience under his belt this season has been a different one. After having just four Top 10’s last season, Caruth has five Top 10’s through the first six races of the season. Rajah has yet to reach his ceiling, he’ll continue to make the climb on Friday night.
