Staying in Virginia for the second consecutive weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series travels to Martinsville Speedway for the Cook Out 400. Coverage begins at 3PM EST on FS1.

Best Bets for Cup |
Denny Hamlin +450 | Top 5 -180 | Top 10 -650
As expected, Denny Hamlin enters this weekend as the favorite yet again. Hamlin has won both Cup races at tracks less than a mile in length, Bristol and Richmond. Not to mention he’s won five times at Martinsville, however his most recent win came in 2015. He has finished inside the Top 5 in his last three starts, as he looks to be the first Cup driver to reach three wins in the 2024 season.
Ryan Blaney +700 | Top 5 +100 | Top 10 -430
Ryan Blaney was the winner in the Fall race last year, in which he would go onto becoming the Cup Champion. Blaney has finished inside the Top 10 in 10 of 16 starts at the paper clip, four of those Top 10 finishes coming in his last four races. He’ll be looking to go back-to-back this weekend.
William Byron +1200 | Top 5 +155 | Top 10 -250
After his win at COTA, William Byron has bounced in the right direction following a 7th place finish at Richmond. Byron has finished in the Top 10 in six of his last nine starts at Martinsville, including a win in the Spring of 2022. Look for the #24 team to rekindle their magic at the paper clip on Sunday.
Joey Logano +1200 | Top 5 +150 | Top 10 -250
Joey Logano is coming off an impressive weekend at Richmond, where he finished 2nd to score his first Top 5 finish of the season. He heads back to another one of his best race tracks at Martinsville, where he’s finished inside the Top 10 in his last nine starts. He won his only race at the paper clip back in 2018 as he looks to continue turning his season around.
Chase Briscoe +2200 | Top 5 +280 | Top 10 -125
Since the debut of the NextGen in 2022, Chase Briscoe has finished every Martinsville race inside the Top 10, with his best finish of 4th coming last Fall. He’s off to a better start this year than at this time last year, where his average finish is 16th rather than 20th from the start last season. Briscoe will be a threat on Sunday.
Bubba Wallace +2500 | Top 5 +300 | Top 10 -115
There have been a handful of incidents that have plagued Bubba Wallace this season. Last weekend he had a Top 5 run going before sending Kyle Larson around on a late yellow and his pit crew messing up their final stop, causing him to finish in 13th. He’s improved on the short tracks, including Martinsville, where he’s finished inside the Top 10 in two of his last three starts. If things go Bubba’s way this weekend, he’ll be bringing home a grandfather clock with his name on it.
