NASCAR Xfinity competition heads to Darlington Raceway this Saturday for the Crown Royal Purple Bag Project 200. Coverage begins at 1:30PM EST on FS1.

Last year’s Spring race ended with a chaotic finish between Kyle Larson and John Hunter Nemechek. Both drivers traded paint, with Larson winning and Nemechek wrecking across the finish line in 5th.

William Byron +280

William Byron enters this weekend as the favorite to win on Saturday, in what will be his second Xfinity start of the season. His first start this season was a 23rd place finish at Phoenix. He only has one Xfinity start at Darlington from 2017, where he finished 5th. He’ll look to add another win to his resumé at Darlington.

Justin Allgaier +350

One driver that’s still looking for his first win of the season is Justin Allgaier. He’s came close to winning multiple times this season and heads back to the Lady in Black, who’s been kind to him in the last few years. He’s won twice at Darlington in 2021 and 2022, with six straight Top 10 finishes on top of that as well. Watch out for Allgaier this weekend.

Cole Custer +600

The defending Xfinity Champion is also looking for his first win in 2024. Cole Custer does have a win at Darlington back in 2019, and has finished inside the Top 10 in all five of his Xfinity starts at Darlington. Custer has finished inside the Top 10 in eight straight races after finishing 16th and 13th to start the season, expect it to go up to nine straight races following Darlington.

Chandler Smith +1000

Chandler Smith enters this weekend as the points leader by only one point over Cole Custer. Despite the newfound success at JGR, his best finish at Darlington came last year, where he finished 12th for Kaulig Racing. However, Joe Gibbs Racing has been to victory lane nine times at Darlington in the Xfinity Series. Smith will look to make it ten wins for JGR at the Lady in Black this weekend.

Austin Hill +1200

Austin Hill has finished inside the Top 10 only once in his last four starts since opening the season with six straight Top 10 finishes. Darlington is a track where Hill could rejuvenate his season, as he’s finished inside the Top 10 in all five of his Xfinity starts. He finished 2nd in the Fall last year, as he looks for his third win of the season.

Carson Kvapil +3000

Carson Kvapil came so close to winning at Dover two weeks ago, finishing 2nd in just his second Xfinity start of his career. Since then, he’s been tabbed to drive the #88 for JR Motorsports in a number of races, including this weekend at Darlington. It’ll be an interesting challenge for Kvapil, his first dance with the Lady in Black this Saturday.
