The brush fires are dying down at Homestead-Miami Speedway as NASCAR makes their only trip to South Florida for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 weekend. All three series will host races this weekend including the Cup race on Sunday, where last year’s race was won by Tyler Reddick with a last lap pass into Turn 3, punching his ticket to the championship round in Phoenix.

Craftsman Truck Series

Baptist Health 200 | Mar 21 8:00 pm ET | FS

-130 | Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson enters this weekend as the favorite to pull it off for Spire Motorsports in the Trucks. It’ll be his first start in the Trucks Series since 2023, where he dominated at North Wilkesboro. Larson’s success at Homestead speaks for itself, almost 700 laps led with a win back in 2022 for the Cup Series, along with over 300 laps led and a win in the Xfinity Series back in 2015.

+500 | Corey Heim

Corey Heim has great value for this weekend, it just depends if he’s got what it takes to challenge Kyle Larson. He’s coming off an excellent weekend in Las Vegas, where he won his second Truck race of the season. For Homestead, Heim has finished inside the Top 5 in all three of his starts.

+1200 | Grant Enfinger

Grant Enfinger is still searching for his first win of the 2025 season, lucky for him the Trucks head back to the track where he won his most recent race. He won last year’s race, leading the final 22 laps en route to his second win of 2024. So far he’s finished inside the Top 10 in all three races this season, looking to make it four straight this Friday night.

+1400 | Ty Majeski

Ty Majeski has also finished every race inside the Top 10 for not only this season but also in all four of his Truck starts at Homestead. Majeski won back in 2022 and finished 2nd in his most recent start in last year’s race. He’s coming off a Top 5 performance last weekend at Las Vegas, looking to keep the momentum rolling into the weekend.

+5000 | Stewart Friesen

Stewart Friesen is off to a stellar start compared to last season, with two Top 10’s and a Top 5 finish to his name. He’s finished inside the Top 10 in his last three starts at Homestead, finishing 6th or better. His best finish came at a 1.5 mile track at Charlotte last year and this year in Atlanta, keep an eye on Friesen.

Xfinity Series

Hard Rock Bet 300 | Mar 22 4:00 pm ET | The CW

-130 | Kyle Larson | Top 3 -575

Kyle Larson once again enters as the favorite to win this weekend at Homestead, this time for the Xfinity Series. Besides his rookie season in 2013, Larson has won at least once in his last eight seasons competing in the Xfinity Series. Last year he won at COTA and finished 3rd at Chicago. Larson has won at Homestead before, back in 2015 and has over 300 laps led in the Xfinity car.

+800 | Austin Hill | Top 3 +200

Despite having two DNF’s this season, Austin Hill has finished inside the Top 5 in the other three races in 2025. He’s still looking for his first win of the season, where Homestead could be a great track for him to earn that at. He led 82 laps and went to victory lane in last year’s race.

+1200 | Sam Mayer | Top 3 +300

Sam Mayer finished 5th last week at Las Vegas, earning his third Top 5 and fourth Top 10 of 2025. As far as Homestead, Mayer has finished inside the Top 10 in each of his three Xfinity starts, including a win back in 2023. Mayer has found rhythm in his new home at HAAS Factory Team, and he looks to keep that ryhthm flowing through Homestead-Miami.

+1500 | Connor Zilisch | Top 3 +350

Connor Zilisch had the win essentially snatched from him last week at Las Vegas following a speeding penalty on the final pit stops of the race. Zilisch finished 12th in last year’s race, but expect him to be inside the Top 10 with the experience he’s gained since then.

+2200 | Carson Kvapil | Top 3 +550

Carson Kvapil once again had another Top 10 performance get squandered due to an issue out of his control. A miscue with fueling the car on the final pit stop ruined a solid performance for Kvapil. The speed is there, the finishes will come, and they should start on Saturday at Homestead.

+2800 | Brandon Jones | Top 3 +700

Since going back to normal ovals, Brandon Jones has finishes of 3rd at Phoenix and 6th last week at Las Vegas. Jones has shown his capability of running inside the Top 5 throughout the past couple of weeks, not to mention his teammate Aric Almirola finished inside the Top 5 the last two weeks in the same equipment.

Cup Series

Straight Talk Wireless 400 | Mar 23 3:00 pm ET | FS1

+360 | Kyle Larson | Top 5 -190 | Top 10 -600

Kyle Larson has done the impossible and has swept the nominee of being the favorite to win not only the Truck race, Xfinity race, but also the Cup race this weekend. It’ll be a busy weekend for Larson, but his stats at Homestead don’t lie about how fast he is. Refer to the articles above, enough said.

+600 | Ryan Blaney | Top 5 -120 | Top 10 -400

Ryan Blaney arguably had the fastest car at Las Vegas, after coming from behind multiple laps, he was caught in a crash late in the going and ruined his chances of victory. Lucky for him, Homestead is next for the Cup Series, where he’s finished 2nd the past two seasons. He was passed on the last lap in Turns 3-4 by Tyler Reddick, looking to avenge that defeat on Sunday.

+700 | William Byron | Top 5 -115 | Top 10 -330

William Byron had a huge win in 2021 at Homestead-Miami, where it felt like the beginning of the meteoric rise for Byron, earning a then career high 12 Top 5’s and 20 Top 10’s in his first season with crew chief Rudy Fugle. This weekend, Byron heads into Homestead as the points leader, where he’ll look to increase the gap between himself and Christopher Bell.

+800 | Christopher Bell | Top 5 +110 | Top 10 -300

The winning streak came to an end last weekend for Christopher Bell, finishing 12th after a loose wheel on pit road essentially took him out of contention. In his five Cup starts at Homestead, Bell has finished no worse than 20th, even scoring a win back in 2023. He finished 4th in last year’s race, where he’ll look to improve on that with another win to a strong season so far.

+2800 | Josh Berry | Top 5 +360 | Top 10 +110

Buy into the hype, it’s real, it wasn’t a fluke at Phoenix. Josh Berry brought the Wood Brothers back to victory lane from raw speed last weekend at Las Vegas. It was a stunning win for Berry after a stunning battle with Daniel Suarez late in the race. Expect the speed to carry for Berry into Homestead.

+4000 | Carson Hocevar | Top 5 +500 | Top 10 +150

It was a weekend to forget for Carson Hocevar, finishing 30th at Las Vegas. But Homestead brings back good memories for Carson, his last Truck start in 2023 he went to victory lane and in last year’s Cup race he finished 9th. It’s a bounce back week for Hocevar, expect him inside the Top 10 throughout the race on Sunday.

+5000 | AJ Allmendinger | Top 5 +600 | Top 10 +185

In the NextGen, AJ Allmendinger is a beast at Homestead. He’s finished inside the Top 10 in his last three Cup starts at Homestead, including an 8th place finish in last year’s race. He’s also coming off his best finish of the season, 8th at Las Vegas. Should be fun to watch.
