2025 Pennzoil 400 Odds | Hunter’s Picks
NASCAR makes their first of two trips to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where all three national series return for the weekend. Last Spring was a historic weekend for Rajah Caruth, winning his first career Truck win, John Hunter Nemechek won the Xfinity race last March, and Kyle Larson held off a fast charging Tyler Reddick to secure his first win of the 2024 season in last year’s Pennzoil 400.
Craftsman Truck Series
Ecosave 200 | Mar 14 9:00 pm ET | FS1
+180 | Corey Heim | Top 5 -340
Corey Heim heads into Las Vegas as the favorite to win. It shouldn’t come as a surprise as Heim has scored a Top 5 finish in each of his two Truck starts at the 1.5 mile oval. Not much else needs to be said, he’s the truck to beat heading into the weekend.
+550 | Chandler Smith | Top 5 -150
Chandler Smith won in his most recent Truck start at Las Vegas back in 2022. His last four starts at Las Vegas have come from the Xfinity Series, where he’s finished inside the Top 5 in all four of those starts. So far in 2025, Smith has finished 6th at Daytona and 5th in Atlanta. He’ll look to give Corey Heim some tough competition.
+900 | Ty Majeski | Top 5 +120
The defending Truck Champion has a good track record with Las Vegas. Ty Majeski’s best finish came in 2023 where he finished 5th, and overall he has three Top 10 finishes in his four Truck starts. This year, he’s finished 3rd at Daytona and 8th in Atlanta, bringing good vibes into Sin City.
+1200 | Rajah Caruth | Top 5 +150
Rajah Caruth made history his last time in Las Vegas, bringing home his first career win in the Craftsman Truck Series. Last season, Caruth had three Top 10 finishes on 1.5 mile tracks, with Las Vegas being the best of the three finishes.
+1600 | Kaden Honeycutt | Top 5+200
It was last season’s race at Kansas where Kaden Honeycutt nearly pulled off the upset, finishing in 4th on a part time schedule with Niece Motorsports. He also finished 7th at Charlotte and 4th in the second Kansas race. This year, he’s running the whole season, and is looking to bring that same speed they had on the 1.5 mile tracks last year.
Xfinity Series
The LiUNA! | Mar 15 4:30 pm ET | The CW
+300 | Justin Allgaier | Top 5 -230
Justin Allgaier enters this weekend as the co-favorite to win at Las Vegas. In his 21 Xfinity starts, he has accumulated 11 Top 5 finishes and 18 Top 10 finishes. Despite suffering another heartbreaking loss last weekend at Phoenix, Allgaier will look to shake it off with a trip to victory lane for the first time in his career.
+300 | Aric Almirola | Top 5 -200
Aric Almirola enters as the co-favorite to win this weekend. He was the fourth different winner in the 2025 Xfinity season after narrowly holding off Alex Bowman at Phoenix last week, and his 5th Xfinity win since 2023. Almirola won at Kansas last Fall, but finished outside the Top 10 in both Xfinity starts at Las Vegas last year.
+850 | Austin Hill | Top 5 +110
No one had a more embarrassing weekend than Austin Hill at Phoenix. Hitting the inside wall in Turn 3 ruined what would’ve been a solid points day for the #21, but he can turn that around with a strong weekend at Las Vegas. Hill has finished inside the Top 10 in his last five races at the 1.5 mile track, including a win in March 2023.
+1800 | Taylor Gray | Top 5 +220
Apart from a DNF in Atlanta, Taylor Gray has raced like a seasoned veteran rather than a rookie. He’s gathered one Top 5 and three Top 10’s in the three races he’s made it to the finish in. Last year in the Truck race, Gray finished 4th at Las Vegas.
+1800 | Ryan Sieg | Top 5 +225
Ryan Sieg had victory stolen from him last Fall, when a late yellow thwarted his chances of winning. Last week, Sieg finished 4th in a backup car at Phoenix. Decent value for a Top 5 pick, expect him to be a front runner on Saturday.
+3000 | Christian Eckes | Top 5 +350
Christian Eckes should be able to excell on the 1.5 mile tracks this season with Kaulig Racing. His previous track record at Las Vegas shows he has speed, with one win and six Top 10 finishes. Not to mention, he had three Top 5’s and six Top 10’s on 1.5 mile tracks in the Trucks season last year.
Cup Series
Pennzoil 400 | Mar 16 3:30 pm ET | FS1
+400 | Kyle Larson | Top 5 -200 | Top 10 -450
Kyle Larson enters this weekend as the co-favorite to win the Cup race this Sunday. He bounced back with a solid 3rd place finish in Phoenix, and heads to a track where he’s won three times since 2021, including last year’s race in March. In the NextGen, Larson has led 405 laps at Las Vegas, more than any driver.
+400 | Christopher Bell | Top 5 -200 | Top 10 -450
Christopher Bell enters as the co-favorite alongside Larson, looking to make history this weekend. Bell has won the last three Cup races and if he wins at Las Vegas this Sunday, he’ll be the first driver since Jeff Gordon in 1998 to win four straight Cup races. He finished 2nd in the Fall, leading 155 of the 267 laps.
+750 | William Byron | Top 5 +110 | Top 10 -280
William Byron just missed out on a Top 5 last weekend at Phoenix, but is looking to keep his Top 10 streak alive at Las Vegas. Byron has finished inside the Top 10 in his last four Cup races at Las Vegas, including a win in March 2023. He’ll look to be the one in victory lane this weekend.
+850 | Denny Hamlin | Top 5 +120 | Top 10 -250
Denny Hamlin came through for his first Top 5 finish of the season last weekend at Phoenix, coming up just short on Christopher Bell. Since the NextGen debuted in 2022, Hamlin has finished 11th or better in five of the six Las Vegas races. He finished 8th in both races last year, looking to improve on that mark.
+1600 | Kyle Busch | Top 5 +200 | Top 10 -165
Kyle Busch has been on a man on a mission since he crashed out of the Daytona 500, earning Top 10 finishes in his last three Cup races. He heads back to his home track in Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where he’s looking to return to victory lane for the first time since 2009.
+2200 | Ross Chastain | Top 5 +275 | Top 10 -115
Ross Chastain has a surprisingly great track record at Las Vegas. Since 2022, he has four Top 5 finishes, the same as Kyle Larson, and he has five Top 10 finishes, the same as William Byron. He has three finishes inside the Top 12 this season, where he’ll look to crack in his first Top 5 finish of the season.
+11000 | Noah Gragson | Top 5 +1400 | Top 10 +400
Noah Gragson returns to his home track, where he finished 6th in last year’s Pennzoil 500. Whenever it’s a driver’s home track, there’s always a little more motivation to show off in front of family and friends. He had a Top 10 run at COTA a couple weeks ago on raw pace, looking for that same pace this Sunday.
