The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to one of the more popular race tracks amongst the drivers this Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Coverage for the ‘Credit One NASCAR AMEX Credit Card 300’ begins at 4PM EST on The CW.

Last year’s race was won by Sam Mayer, leading the final 31 laps and punching his ticket to the Championship 4.

Cole Custer +320 | Top 5 -230

Cole Custer enters this weekend as the favorite to win as he looks to lock his spot in Phoenix with a win on Saturday. Custer has won at Homestead before, dating back to 2017 and has three Top 5 finishes in five Xfinity starts. He finished 13th in last year’s race but led the most laps with 114.

Aric Almirola +500 | Top 5 -150

Aric Almirola has settled nicely into his part time driver role for Joe Gibbs Racing, earning two wins on the season. One of his wins came at Kansas, a 1.5 mile track where he was the driver to beat but kept having to dig his way out of deep holes made by his pit crew. If his pit crew can minimize the mistakes, Almirola could be heading towards his 3rd win on the season.

Sam Mayer +800 | Top 5 +100

Sam Mayer won last year’s race at Homestead and clinched his spot at Phoenix to chase the Championship. This year, Mayer finds himself -23 points below the cutoff line, putting him in a borderline must win situation. Mayer has finished inside the Top 5 at Homestead in both of his Xfinity starts and has a 1.5 mile track win at Texas earlier in the year.

Connor Zilisch +1000 | Top 5 +130

Connor Zilisch will look to continue to build experience in the Xfinity Series before the season ends at another 1.5 mile track. He won in his debut at Watkins Glen but most recently finished 4th at Kansas in his first 1.5 mile track start in Xfinity competition. It’ll be fun watching Zilisch rip the high line at Homestead.

Chandler Smith +1000 | Top 5 +130

Chandler Smith enters +8 points above the cutoff line, projecting to be the last of the Championship 4 drivers. Since his 8th place finish at Darlington, Smith has finished every race inside the Top 5, marking that as seven straight Top 5 finishes. An engine failure ruined his race last year, but the polesitter will look to shake that off on Saturday.

Ryan Sieg +3000 | Top 5 +350

Ryan Sieg came up one spot short yet again at Las Vegas last weekend. The cautions haven’t been falling his way but the speed sure has gone his way. Sieg has finished 2nd in two of the last three races at Talladega and Las Vegas. It’s likely he’ll keep the same car he ran at Texas and Las Vegas, where he finished 2nd in both starts.
