Kyle Larson +400 | Top 5 -200 | Top 10 -550
Kyle Larson nearly won at Texas last year, before losing control of his car while battling with Bubba Wallace for the win. He’s won earlier this year at Las Vegas, the only 1.5 mile track the Cup guys have been on this season. Coming off a 3rd place finish at Richmond and 2nd at Martinsville, the trend would seem to be a potential win at Texas this weekend.
William Byron +700 | Top 5 -110 | Top 10 -290
There’s no stopping William Byron. He’s picked up his third win of the season last weekend at Martinsville, and heads back to the track where he snatched the race away from Bubba Wallace in the closing laps. Three decades after Jeff Gordon started his career, it’s back to the topic: Never count out the #24.
Chase Elliott +1400 | Top 5 +175 | Top 10 -200
After going the first four races of the season without finishing inside the Top 10, Chase Elliott has finished inside the Top 10 in three of his last four races. His average finish of 11th shows that Elliott has the consistency to run in or around the Top 10. After coming off his best race of the season at Martinsville, it’s only a matter of time before we see the #9 return to victory lane, and it could very well be this Sunday.
Bubba Wallace +1600 | Top 5 +200 | Top 10 -200
Bubba Wallace led the most laps in last year’s race and made a small error on track that costed him the win. He’s looking to avenge his mistake this Sunday, as he’s had a different attitude all season. He’s coming off a 4th place run at Martinsville, his best career finish at that track, with the momentum in the right direction heading into the weekend.
Brad Keselowski +2800 | Top 5 +350 | Top 10 -125
Brad Keselowski is still searching for his first win with RFK Racing and at Texas. He’s finished inside the Top 10 in his last five starts at Texas, even between racing for Penske and RFK. His best finish outside of the short tracks this season came at Las Vegas with a 13th place run. Could this be the weekend where Keselowski finally breaks through?
Daniel Suarez +8500 | Top 5 +800 | Top 10 +170
Daniel Suarez hasn’t finished inside the Top 10 since his viral three wide photo finish win in Atlanta. But Texas has been a track in the past where Suarez seems to find himself finishing inside the Top 10, where he’s done that in two of his last three starts. Suarez needs something to steer his #99 in the right direction, it could come this weekend.
Chase Briscoe +8500 | Top 5 +800 | Top 10 +240
Chase Briscoe continues to have a bounce back season compared to last year. He heads into Texas this weekend with similar stats to Daniel Suarez, as he’s also finished inside the Top 10 in two of his last three starts. He finished 21st at Las Vegas, but was inside the Top 10 for a majority of the race. If he has a long run car, he could very well be on his way to another solid Top 10 performance.
