NASCAR Xfinity Series Predicitons at Kansas

Noah Gragson celebrates in the indoor victory lane after a rain shortened Xfinity race at Kansas.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series wraps up their regular season this Saturday at Kansas Speedway for the Kansas Lottery 300 at 3PM EST on NBC.

Noah Gragson won last year’s event after it was shortened due to rain, giving him his fifth win of the 2022 season.

John Hunter Nemechek +250

John Hunter Nemechek enters as the favorite to win this weekend, entering only 23 points behind Austin Hill in the driver standings. With the 15 bonus points still up for grabs, Nemechek heads back to the track where he won his first Xfinity race in 2018. Not to mention, he has a Top 10 in all four of the 1.5 mile races this season, including a win in Atlanta. Nemechek will be looking for his sixth win of the season, as he chases for that regular season title.

Justin Allgaier +350

Justin Allgaier is another driver who has inched closer towards stealing the 15 bonus points, entering 33 points behind Austin Hill for the regular season title. He’s earned a Top 10 finish in his last five starts at Kansas, including a 2nd place finish last season. Not to mention, he has a win this season at Charlotte, he’ll look to add another win this season before the Playoffs begin.

Austin Hill +400

Austin Hill enters as the regular season points leader in what has been a surprisingly strong season for the #21 RCR group. He won earlier this year at Las Vegas and Atlanta, and has been consistent throughout the regular season to stay atop the standings. After a couple of rough weeks in Watkins Glen and Daytona, Hill looks to regroup this Saturday and wrap up the regular season with an 15 bonus points to his name.

Josh Berry +600

Josh Berry enters this weekend sixth in the points standings, the highest in points without a win. Berry’s looking to build off a 7th place finish from a year ago and find some momentum to carry into the Playoffs. His best finish on 1.5 mile tracks this season came at Las Vegas with a 5th place finish. He’ll be looking to find a better result this Saturday.

Brandon Jones +1800

Brandon Jones enters this weekend in a must win situation, being 14th in the standings and 79 points behind the cutoff. Jones has had success in the past at Kansas, with two wins in 2019 and 2020. He finished 4th last season after starting on the pole, aiming for the top spot this Saturday as he looks to make one final push at getting into the Playoffs for JR Motorsports.
