Austin Hill +285 | Top 5 -225
Shocking to no one, Austin Hill enters as the favorite to win this weekend. Hill has won at Daytona three times, each of those happening in February, however in the Summer race his best finish was 14th in 2022. If he can avoid getting caught in the Big One, Hill will be a factor in the end.
Sheldon Creed +1100 | Top 5 +140
Sheldon Creed is coming off a strong weekend in Michigan where he finished 2nd to Justin Allgaier for the third time in the last year, dating back to last year’s Summer Daytona race. Creed has finished 2nd a staggering ELEVEN TIMES in the Xfinity Series, he’ll look to finally erase that goose egg in the win column this Friday night.
Justin Allgaier +1200 | Top 5 +150
Justin Allgaier is the defending winner of the Summer Daytona race, where he won by five one thousandths of a second last year. He seems to have found his groove at the 2.5 mile superspeedway, with five Top 10 finishes in his last six starts. He’s only -12 points behind Cole Custer for the lead in the points standings, he’ll be in the mix looking to take over as the new points leader.
Ryan Sieg +2000 | Top 5 +260
Ryan Sieg has been on an impressive run since his engine expired at Dover, with eleven straight finishes inside the Top 20, adding to an average finish of 12th. Sieg had a Top 5 run going before Riley Herbst came across his nose and damaged it. Sieg has been long overdue for that first career Xfinity victory, he’ll be one to watch.
Parker Retzlaff +4000 | Top 5 +500
Parker Retlzaff might have the best value for the weekend, as his resume for Daytona has been impressive to say the least. He’s finished inside the Top 10 in each of his three starts at Daytona, with his worst finish being 7th in last year’s Summer race. Retlaff puts himself in the right place at the right time, so don’t be surprised if he’s in a spot to steal the win.
Brennan Poole +10000 | Top 5 +1200
Brennan Poole was so close to winning at Talladega earlier in the year, before getting passed by Jesse Love for the win. His best finish at Daytona was 7th back in 2017, where he won the pole as well. Poole can win if he plays his cards right and stays out of harms way, he could put the whole field on upset alert this Friday night.
