The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to the track ‘Too Tough to Tame’ at Darlington Raceway. Coverage of the ‘Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help a Hero 200’ begins at 3:30PM EST on USA.

Last year’s race was won by Denny Hamlin, making the pass for the win on Austin Hill with three laps to go. It would be Hamlin’s six career Xfinity win at Darlington, just two shy from tying Mark Martin.

Best Bets for Xfinity |

Christopher Bell +300 | Top 5 -225

Christopher Bell enters as the favorite this weekend, looking for as much inisght as he can before the Cup race on Sunday. This will be Bell’s fifth Xfinity start since 2019, his last year in full time competition. Bell’s best finish came in 2019 where he finished 4th, and 7th in his most recent start in 2022. Bell’s only made one Xfinity start this season, and that was in Loudon. Different tracks but expect the same speed for Bell.

Justin Allgaier +350 | Top 5 -190

Justin Allgaier has been one of the best drivers at Darlington since they added a second race in 2021. Allgaier has won three times, most recently in the Spring race, and has seven straight Top 10 finishes, with an average finish of 3rd. He enters this weekend as the points leader, looking to continue building that gap with just three races to go before the Playoffs.

Cole Custer +500 | Top 5 -140

Cole Custer has been nothing but fast in the Xfinity Series at Darlington. He’s finished inside the Top 10 in all six of his starts at the Lady in Black, securing a win back in 2019. Custer is due for a bounce back race, after back to back finishes 30th or worse, he’s lost the points lead to Justin Allgaier. Look for Custer to regain momentum in the right direction this weekend.

Austin Hill +900 | Top 5 +115

Most people think of Austin Hill as a ‘superspeedway merchant’ where he can only win on those types of tracks. But little do they know he’s got a couple wins at unique tracks like Las Vegas and Pocono, looking to add another to his resume at Darlington. Similar to the driver of the #00, Hill has finished inside the Top 10 in each of his six starts, with his best finish being 2nd in his last two starts. After his miscues on Daytona, Hill will look to refocus this weekend.

Sam Mayer +1200 | Top 5 +155

Despite finishing 39th in his first Darlington start, Sam Mayer has finished 11th or better in his five starts at the Lady in Black since. He finished 4th in the Spring as is looking for extra momentum in his final season with JR Motorsports. Since his win at Iowa, Mayer has only two Top 10s in his last seven starts, looking to swing things in the right direction this weekend.

Noah Gragson +4000 | Top 5 +500

Noah Gragson will make his fourth appearance for Rette Jones Racing this season, and it comes at one of his better tracks in the Xfinity Series. Gragson has won two of his last three Xfinity starts at the track Too Tough to Tame, with finishes inside the Top 10 in all seven of his starts. Now he is racing in Ford equipment this weekend, but he’s finished inside the Top 10 in all three of his starts this season. Gragson could play spoiler to the Xfinity regulars this weekend.
