2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series Richmond Preview

The stars of tomorrow for the NASCAR Xfinity Series will be in the Strawberry Hills at Richmond Raceway this Saturday for the ToyotaCare 250. Coverage begins at 1:30 PM EST on FS1.

Last year’s race ended with Chandler Smith nabbing the win from John Hunter Nemechek, leading 83 laps en route to his first career Xfinity Series win.

Chandler Smith +310

The defending winner of this race opens up as the favorite to win on Saturday. Chandler Smith won earlier this season at Phoenix, the smallest track they’ve been to up until this weekend. He’s finished every race inside the Top 10 this season, and he’ll be looking to make it six straight races with a Top 10 finish.

Cole Custer +450

Cole Custer is still looking for his first win of the season, as he heads back to the sight of one of his many wins in 2019. Custer has finished inside the Top 10 in five starts at Richmond, with his worse finish being 15th in 2018. Last year Custer finished 5th, he’ll be looking for a similar or even better result this weekend.

Sheldon Creed +900

After coming off a 32nd place effort in COTA, Sheldon Creed is thrilled to be back on a short track oval again. Creed finished 6th in last year’s race and 3rd at Phoenix a few weeks back. He’ll be looking to get back on the right track this Saturday.

Austin Hill +1400

The most consistent driver in the Xfinity Series (so far) this year has been Austin Hill. He’s finished every race inside the Top 5, including his controversial 2nd place finish last week at COTA. He finished 9th in last year’s race, but will be looking to continue his Top 5 streak heading into the weekend.
