The NASCAR Xfinity Series makes its return to ‘The Last Great Coliseum’ at Bristol Motor Speedway. Coverage of the ‘Food City 300’ begins at 7:30PM EST on The CW.

Last year’s race was won by Justin Allgaier, making the winning pass on Daniel Hemric with 12 laps to go. It would be Allgaier’s thrid win of 2023.

Best Bets for Xfinity |

Justin Allgaier +250 | Top 5 -230

Justin Allgaier enters this weekend as the favorite, with a very solid track record at Bristol. Allgaier earned his second career victory at The Last Great Coliseum last year, leading the most laps with 110 and was the only JR Motorsports car to finish. Since joining JR Motorsports in 2016, Allgaier has finished inside the Top 10 in 12 of 15 starts. He’ll look to lock the regular season title with a strong performance tonight.

Chandler Smith +450 | Top 5 -165

Chandler Smith is finding his rhythm at the right time heading into Bristol, finishing inside the Top 10 in his last four starts. Smith has an average finish of 4th on tracks less than 1 mile in length this season, with a win at Richmond, 3rd at Martinsville, and 8th at Iowa. In his only start at Bristol, he finished 5th in last year’s event. Safe to say he’ll have a solid night as he looks to pursue his first Xfinity Championship.

Sheldon Creed +750 | Top 5 -105

Sheldon Creed finished 2nd last weekend at Watkins Glen for the TWELFTH time in his Xfinity career, still searching for his first Xfinity win. He heads into Bristol with the goal of winning, as he’ll be at a disadvantage in the Playoffs when in comes to how many bonus points he has compared to others. Seems like he’ll be rewarded soon for his 12 Top 5’s and 16 Top 10’s in 25 starts this season.

Dale Earnhardt Jr +850 | Top 5 +110

Dale Earnahrdt Jr. makes his return to Bristol Motor Speedway in what could be his final NASCAR start. He led 47 laps in last year’s race and was poised for a Top 5 finish, had his foot not caught on fire within the last 30 laps. Since his retirement from Cup racing in 2017, Dale Jr. has four Top 5 finishes in seven Xfinity starts, his best being 4th at Richmond in 2018. He’ll be determined to give Jr Nation one more trip to victory lane.

AJ Allmendinger +1500 | Top 5 +190

AJ Allmendinger famously went to victory lane at Bristol in 2021 after crashing across the finish line with Austin Cindric. He only has three Xfinity starts at ‘The Last Great Coliseum’ but he’s finished inside the Top 10 in all three of those starts. He’s finished inside the Top 10 in six of his last nine starts, he’ll look to keep his good streak of finishes going as he prepares for the Playoffs.

Brandon Jones +2000 | Top 5 +260

Brandon Jones is in a must win situation heading into tonight’s race. He’s -148 points behind and anything but a win will be seen as a disappointment. Last year’s race was derailed with a suspension issue for Jones, resulting 34th after finishing 2nd in 2022. Jones has DNF’d in every short track race this season, but will look to turn that luck around with a win to clinch his spot in the Playoffs.
