Denny Hamlin +500 | Top 5 -155 | Top 10 -600

Denny Hamlin enters this weekend as the favorite to win, where he made history last year by winning his seventh Cup race at Pocono, becoming the all time wins leader at the Tricky Triangle. He’s won both races in the NextGen car…up until inspection in 2022. Nonetheless, he still proves that he can compete for the win at this late stage of his career.

Kyle Larson +600 | Top 5 -120 | Top 10 -430

Kyle Larson is a driver who’s been so close to winning at the Tricky Triangle in the past. In the second Pocono race of 2016, Larson lost the lead after battling with Austin Dillon, he ended up 6th with 37 laps led. Fast forward to 2021, Larson took the lead late in the going of the first Pocono race in the double header weekend, and cut a tire heading into the final turn, finishing 9th. Last year’s race, he was put in the wall by Denny Hamlin in the closing laps fighting for the win, resulting in 20th. Larson is owed a win by the racing gods at Pocono, look for this weekend to be a special one for him.

Martin Truex Jr +850 | Top 5 +100 | Top 10 -360

Martin Truex Jr makes his 35th and final start at the 2.5 mile Tricky Triangle, a track that saw the rebirth of his career in 2015, where he won the June race at Pocono. He won again in 2018, and has been on the hunt for his third win at Pocono since. He’s finished 7th in 2022 and 3rd in last year’s race, having a good feel for the 2.5 mile triangle in the NextGen. This weekend could be the one where Truex Jr punches his ticket into the Playoffs.

Tyler Reddick +1000 | Top 5 +145 | Top 10 -260

Tyler Reddick has been so close to winning at Darlington, Nashville, and the Chicago Street Course last weekend. Pocono is a track where he’s finished runner up in the last two Cup races here. In his last four Cup races at Pocono, Reddick has finished no wrse than 11th. Reddick is eventually going to breakthrough and win again this season at the rate he’s going on, it could very well be this weekend.

William Byron +1000 | Top 5 +125 | Top 10 -300

William Byron won the pole and led the most laps in last year’s race, but cautions not falling his way resulted in a 14th place finish. Despite not finishing inside the Top 10 in the NextGen car, Byron has two Top 5s and five Top 10s in his Cup career at Pocono, and a win in the Trucks Series in 2016. Byron hasn’t been to victory lane since April, this weekend could see him return for the fourth time this season.

Ty Gibbs +1300 | Top 5 +170 | Top 10 -220

Ty Gibbs made his impromptu Cup debut at Pocono in 2022, finishing 16th with little knowledge of the NextGen car. He finished 5th in last year’s race, and returns still searching for that first career Cup win. He’s finished 2nd in both Xfinity races at Pocono, along with an ARCA win and 2nd place finish in his two ARCA starts. Gibbs will be a man on a mission this Sunday.

Bubba Wallace +3400 | Top 5 +190 | Top 10 +120

Bubba Wallace has some good value this weekend as he heads to the track that could turn his season around. Since the move to 23XI Racing in 2021, Bubba has finished no worse than 14th, earning one Top 5 and two Top 10s in the four race span. He finished 11th last year and after being dumped by the eventual race winner Alex Bowman, Bubba finds himself -45 points outside of the Playoff picture. Expect Bubba to have some speed this weekend.
